I was overwhelmed by the support and kindness shown at my 40th Anniversary Celebration. Former students—from my first class in 1986 to recent graduates and current students—came together with colleagues from Asian Studies and throughout the University, as well as many board members of the Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation and friends from the broader community.
Seeing so many people from different chapters of my life in one room was both humbling and deeply meaningful. Thank you all for helping make this celebration so memorable.
