I have been teaching Chinese language and culture at college level for more than 30 years. I am into the use of instructional technology in my teaching, and have developed online materials and a hard copy textbook to share with teachers, students and individuals who are interested in learning Mandarin and cultural topics related to China and Taiwan. Lots of these materials are being hosted by my university, and I would like to gradually move them here. This is my personal website and it will give me more freedom to post and share, and others easier access.
My professional work also involves collaboration with colleagues in my field and in the community. I mentor younger teachers and promote the learning and teaching of Chinese language and culture in my state. I volunteer and work for the non-profit organization, Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation, to help advance civic harmony in my city. This space will allow me to make further connections, whether at personal or professional level.
